I've always embraced life's chaotic nature, understanding that solutions come in statements, sometimes spoken, sometimes seen. Before I started painting, focusing on anything for more than 30 minutes at a time was an outlandish concept. But now, through my work, I feel centered, and quite often, this obsession for creation, my solution, brings me stillness and sanity, an unmistakable serenity.
There is no tragic meaning behind my pieces, no psychological commentary of the mundane or contemplation of the sublime. My vision is that there is no vision, only the hope to add flare and originality to your walls and continue to share my work with as many people as possible.
My process for creating pieces began slowly, methodically, first painting with acrylic on canvas, then evolving to include different mediums - from metals, grout and woods to tiles and magnets. Much of my work is on canvas or wood canvases that I've stretched or built myself, and every artwork is guaranteed to be unlike the one before it.
